Discord is connected once for your whole store, not per alert, and the same connection delivers scheduled reports. Connect it under Settings → Integrations, or straight from the alert with Connect.Authorising adds the Stockful bot to one server. You need the Manage Server permission on it, which you have if you created it. The bot asks for four permissions and nothing else: view channels, send messages, embed links, and attach files. The last is so scheduled reports can upload their files.
Each alert chooses its own channel inside that server. Only channels the bot can see and post in are listed, so if one is missing, check its permissions in Discord rather than reconnecting.
Each alert arrives as an embed carrying the numbers that triggered it, with buttons for the obvious next steps: create a purchase order, view the product, open it in Stockful, or snooze that SKU. A summary instead lists everything caught over the period with a link to the alert’s history.
If the bot is removed from the server, or loses access to the channel, the alert is recorded as failing rather than going quiet, and the cooldown stops it retrying on every stock change. Restoring the bot’s access to that channel is enough, and the alert itself stays as it is.Disconnecting Discord leaves your alerts switched on and holding their channels. They simply have nowhere to send until you reconnect, at which point they resume.
