Stocky and its API shut down on 31 August 2026. Stockful’s import wizard brings your historical purchasing data across before then, so you don’t start from an empty slate. You’ll find it prompted on your dashboard, the Purchasing pages and the purchase orders list while the window is open, and any time under Settings → Stocky import.

What comes across

  • Suppliers - created in Stockful, or merged with a matching supplier you already have.
  • Price lists - each supplier’s products with their supplier SKU and cost, worked out from your Stocky purchase history and exports.
  • Purchase orders - your historical orders, imported as Closed records with their costs and landed cost reconstructed, tagged so you can find them.
  • Stock adjustments - imported as performed adjustment records for the history.
  • Product costs - each product’s average cost is seeded where you don’t already have one, so margins are right from day one.
Everything imports as net-new: run it again and it only brings in what isn’t already there, so there are no duplicates.
The import never changes your live stock. Historical orders and adjustments come in as records only - it won’t move inventory or write to Shopify.

How it works

1

Connect

Paste your Stocky API key. Stockful pulls your suppliers, purchase orders and stock adjustments straight from Stocky.
2

Upload exports (optional)

Add Stocky’s CSV exports to fill in detail the API doesn’t carry, such as price-list costs and supplier codes. Stocky emails these to you one at a time.
3

Review

See exactly what will come in - new suppliers, matched products, purchase orders, adjustments and prices. Anything already imported is skipped.
4

Import

Stockful creates it all. You’ll get a summary of what landed when it’s done.

After importing

A few things Stocky can’t export, so you add them once in Stockful:
  • Lead times, pack sizes and minimum order values - set these under each supplier and its price list.
You can re-run the import at any time from Settings, and Start over on the final step resets the wizard without touching what you’ve already imported.
Do this before 31 August 2026. After Stocky’s API shuts down, the connect step can no longer pull your data - though the CSV upload path still works if you exported your files in time.
