The Profit / COGS report breaks down revenue, cost of goods sold, and gross profit for the period, so you can see which products and locations actually make money. Key columns: product, variant, SKU, location, units sold, total revenue, total COGS, gross profit, and profit margin. When to use it: to find your most and least profitable lines - high revenue doesn’t always mean high profit once cost of goods is accounted for.
Accurate profit depends on unit costs. Use the Health Check to find products missing a cost.
