The Clearance Recommendations report is the inverse of Reorder Recommendations: instead of what to buy, it surfaces what to clear. It unifies overstock and dead/stale stock into one list ranked by the cash tied up, so you can free up working capital.
Key columns: product, variant, SKU, location, on-hand quantity, days of cover, days since last sale, excess units, cash tied up, current discount, and a suggested action.
Cash tied up is the excess units at cost (so component bundles never show phantom cash). Current discount is read from the variant’s compare-at price, so you can see what’s already marked down.
