Stockful adds inventory intelligence to the pages you already use in the Shopify admin. No need to switch between apps - stock levels, velocity, and status badges appear right alongside your products, orders, and draft orders.
Product detail block
When you open a product in the Shopify admin, the Inventory Overview block shows:
- Total available stock across all tracked locations
- Velocity - how many units sell per day
- Days of supply - how long current stock will last at the current sell rate
- Stock status badge (in stock, low stock, out of stock, or overstocked)
- A per-location table breaking down available stock, supply days, and status at each tracked location

Quick inventory view
From the product detail page, use the Quick Inventory View action to open a modal with a fuller picture:
- Product thumbnail, title, variant count, and location count
- Key metrics: total available, velocity, days of supply, sell-through rate
- Warning banners if any locations are out of stock or running low
- Per-location inventory table
Use Open in Stockful to navigate to the full product page in the app.
Variant detail block
On a variant’s detail page, the Variant Inventory block shows the same metrics scoped to that single variant:
- Total available, velocity, and days of supply across locations
- Per-location table with available stock, velocity, supply days, and status
Order detail block
When viewing an order, the Inventory Impact block shows how the order affects your stock:
- Each line item with the quantity sold and remaining stock
- Status badges showing current stock health after the order
- A warning banner if any items have insufficient stock for fulfillment
- The fulfillment location used for the order
Draft order detail block
On a draft order page, the Stock Availability block answers: “Can this order be fulfilled?”
- Each line item with the requested quantity and total available stock across tracked locations
- Status badges: Available (enough stock), Insufficient (some but not enough), or Out of stock (zero available)
- A warning banner if any items can’t be fully fulfilled
Bulk inventory check
From the Products index page, select multiple products and use the Bulk Inventory Check action to see a summary:
- Counts of selected products, how many are out of stock, and how many have low stock
- A table of all selected products sorted by status severity - out of stock first, then low stock, then in stock
- Each row shows available stock, velocity, days of supply, and status
Use View in Stockful to open the full products page in the app.
Pinning blocks
Admin blocks don’t appear automatically - you need to pin them to see them on each page:
- Open the relevant admin page (e.g., a product detail page)
- Scroll to the bottom and click Add block or look for the + icon in the sidebar
- Find the Stockful block (e.g., “Stockful: Inventory Overview”) and add it
- The block will appear on all pages of that type going forward
The data shown in admin extensions refreshes daily. For real-time inventory levels, open the full Stockful app.
Data freshness
Admin extensions show data from Stockful’s cached analytics - metrics like velocity, days of supply, and sell-through rate are recalculated daily. Current stock quantities (available, committed) update in real-time via Shopify webhooks, so the “available” numbers are always current.
