# Low Stock

> Items running low that may need reordering soon

The **Low Stock** report lists items whose days of supply have fallen below your low-stock threshold - the ones likely to run out soon at their current sales rate. It's the fastest way to see what needs attention before it sells out.

**Key columns**: product, variant, SKU, location, on-hand quantity, and unit cost.

**When to use it**: as a daily or weekly check on what's about to run dry. For a recommendation on *how much* to reorder, use [Reorder Recommendations](/user-guide/reports/reorder-recommendations).

  The threshold that drives this report is set in [Forecasting settings](/user-guide/forecasting) - both a days-of-cover threshold and a units floor for items with little sales history.
