# Plans & billing

> Manage your subscription, usage and billing. Every store starts on a 14-day free trial with full access at Pro-level limits from the moment you install.

## Free trial

Every store gets a **14-day free trial** that starts the moment the app is installed - full access to every feature with Pro-level limits, no plan selection or charge approval needed. You can subscribe at any time during the trial from the plans page; remaining trial days are credited to your subscription, so you're never billed early.

If the trial ends without a subscription:

1. **The next 7 days** - the app becomes read-only. Your data keeps syncing and stays up to date, but editing is disabled, and alerts and scheduled reports pause.
2. **After that** - tracking stops.
3. **30 days later** - your data is deleted. We email a warning a week beforehand, and subscribing at any point before then restores full access with all your data intact.

## Plans

All plans include every feature - the only differences are usage limits. Plans sync all products automatically (with optional exclusion rules) and are billed monthly.

All plans include 2 years of daily history, unlimited weekly/monthly trend data, the health check, and the full AI suite (assistant, weekly digest, anomaly detection, threshold suggestions). Only assistant chat messages you send count against the AI cap - background AI work doesn't.

If you go over your SKU or location limit, overage charges apply (\$5 per 500 SKUs, \$5 per location). Overage is capped per month so costs stay predictable; the exact cap is set on your subscription when you subscribe.

## Larger catalogues

If your store is already beyond the Pro limits, the plans page generates a custom plan sized to your catalogue - a committed monthly price with an allowance that covers your tracked SKUs and locations. Standard overage terms apply past the allowance.

## Development stores

Stockful is free on development and client-transfer stores for as long as the store is on a development Shopify plan - build out your setup with no time limit. The 14-day trial starts automatically when the store moves to a paid plan.

## Viewing your plan and usage

Go to **Settings**, then under the **App** section click **Account & billing**. This page shows:

* Your current plan, status, and billing date
* Usage progress bars for each limit (tracked SKUs, locations)
* A button to change your plan

## Changing plans

From the Account & billing page, click **Change plan** to see all available plans. Selecting a new plan will redirect you to Shopify to confirm the change.

## Cancelling

At the bottom of the Account & billing page, click **Cancel subscription**. You'll be asked to confirm. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
