# Locations

> Track inventory across your warehouses and stores

Stockful tracks inventory independently at each of your Shopify locations. This means you can see stock levels, changes, and trends separately for every warehouse, retail store, or fulfillment center.

## Location list

The **Locations** page shows a table of all your tracked locations. Each row shows the location name, total SKUs, inventory value, out of stock count, and in stock percentage. You can search by name or city and sort by any column.

Click any location to see a detailed inventory breakdown for that location.

## Choosing which locations to track

You select which locations to track during the setup wizard. To change this later, go to **Settings → Locations** where you can enable or disable tracking for each location.

<Note>
  Only tracked locations count toward your plan limit. If you have locations you don't need to monitor, leave them disabled to save on your plan allocation.
</Note>

## Warehouse / hub locations

If you run a central warehouse that mostly buys from suppliers and restocks your other locations (rather than fulfilling customers directly), Stockful treats it differently from a fulfillment location:

* **Demand at the hub** is measured against the total demand of every location it supplies, so reorder suggestions at the hub reflect what your whole business sells - not the near-zero direct sales at the warehouse itself.
* **Reorder points at the hub** are sized for your supplier lead time, since the hub is where supplier orders happen.
* Hub stock is **excluded from dead-stock and clearance reports** (it isn't stale just because it doesn't sell directly), and transfer suggestions prefer the hub as the source when a store runs low.

Stockful detects hubs automatically: a location that can't fulfill online orders (a setting on the location in Shopify admin) and has no recent fulfillment activity is treated as a hub. You can override this any time in **Settings → Locations** with the role selector - set a location to **Hub (warehouse)** or **Fulfillment** explicitly, or leave it on **Automatic**.

## Per-location data throughout the app

Location filtering isn't limited to the Locations page - you can filter by location on the Inventory page, in reports, and in notification rules.
